3 893 kW Alieno Unum hypercar exists in these renders or for €4,5 million

Bulgaria now makes hypercars and the Alieno Unum, with its Lamborghini inspired aesthetics, takes high performance lunacy to a whole new level with air thrusters capable of delivering questionable amounts of power.

It’s all in the name; Alieno. Designed to look like something from outer space with a price tag to match something that is capable of being beamed into the atmosphere and beyond. This is the Alieno Unum from Bulgaria and it takes lunacy to a whole new level.

Starting with its origins, the Unum is a product of Alieno; a Bulgarian hypercar maker founded in 2015 and based in the city of Sliven. This isn’t their first virtual project nor their most optimistic, but we now have their latest electric hypercar that is capable of some impressive, but questionable, statistics.

The name Unum is derived from Latin for “one,” with Alieno describing it as “a two-door, two-seater robotic electric hypercar” with the same “alien” technologies as its predecessor, the Arcanum.

The model is divided into two derivatives, the THF (The Heavenly Founder) and the TRS (The Rocket Successor) – these are the real names we assure you. The former is powered by a battery-electric system with different trim levels outputting 1 946 kW, 2 596 kW, 3 244 kW and a whopping 3 893 kW respectively. The sharply shaped Alieno Unum can thus hit well over 500 km/h, or so it is claimed since these don’t actually exist in reality.

This is courtesy of graphene LiPo cells and supercapacitors with capacity ranging from 180 kWh, 120 kWh, and 60 kWh with an 800-volt electrical architecture enabling a full charge cycle in 30 minutes, 20 minutes, and 10 minutes respectively (from a 350 kW charger).

If you thought that was optimistic and unrealistic, the TRS is the Alieno version of hold my beer, since it is powered by 24 cold air thrusters. The system, internally dubbed as the “octopus synergistic system” uses pressurised gas to generate power via thrust.

This is all fictional for now though although the manufacturer says that the models can be made to order with a price tag listed as a bewildering number. The Alieno Unum THF has a base price of  €1,8 million while the TRS starts at €3 million and specified models going up to as much as €4,5 million (just under R80 million). Despite its sharp looks and impressive stats, we think we’d rather give the tried and tested Rimac our hard earned millions if we were in the market for an hyper-ev
