2024 GLA45 S Undergoes Subtle Refresh for Enhanced Appeal

Mercedes-AMG is introducing subtle updates to the 2024 GLA45 S AMG, enhancing both its exterior and interior features. While the mechanical aspects remain largely unchanged, the focus shifts towards design and technology improvements.

Visually, the 2024 GLA45 S showcases some discreet alterations. The headlights and taillights have undergone slight modifications within the housing, maintaining the recognisable cluster shapes at both the front and rear.

The front apron now boasts a fresh design and the AMG emblem graces the bonnet. When viewed from the side, the wheel arch extensions emphasize the vehicle’s sporty character, now harmoniously painted in the body’s colour. The standard 20-inch wheels and red brake callipers contribute to its athletic appearance. At the rear, the round twin tailpipe trim and the roof spoiler lip mark this model as the most potent within the GLA family.

Inside, the 2024 GLA45 S comes standard with the latest generation of the AMG Performance steering wheel. Furthermore, the MBUX infotainment system receives enhancements, benefiting from increased computing power and an all-new AMG-specific interface. Additional features include improved USB power delivery and an extra USB-C port. The inclusion of wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay adds to the vehicle’s connectivity options.

Under the bonnet, there’s no change in the powertrain. The GLA45 S retains its 2,0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder engine, producing 310 kW of power and 500 N.m of torque. Power is efficiently channelled through the AMG SPEEDSHIFT DCT eight-speed dual-clutch transmission.

Elevating its appeal, the 2024 Mercedes-AMG GLA45 S 4Matic+ brings some welcome technological advancements to remain fresh in the highly competitive SUV segment.
