This comes after Turkish authorities recently apprehended Hakan Ayik, a notorious gang leader and alleged drug importer known as “Australia’s most wanted man.” To make a bold statement, these confiscated vehicles, including a Ferrari 488, Bentley Continental, Porsche Taycan, and Audi RS6, have been transformed into police vehicles, showcased in a dramatic promotional video released by Yerlikaya. The combined value of these luxury police cars is estimated between R60 million and R70 million.

While the full list of seized cars is not provided, the video displays recognizable luxury models, emphasizing the significant financial impact of the operation. The arrested individual, Hakan Ayik, allegedly a drug trafficker associated with the Comanchero bike gang in Sydney, Australia, has been wanted since leaving the country in 2010. During his arrest in Turkey, authorities captured 37 people and approximately $250 million in assets. This high-profile case serves as a deterrent and showcases the authorities’ determination to repurpose illicit gains for law enforcement purposes, reinforcing the consequences of engaging in criminal activities.
