Czech-based e650overland has taken this luxury Bavarian model and created a bespoke piece of motoring. Elevating the car by 50 mm and upgrading the suspension with polyurethane bushes has provided it with increased ground clearance and enhanced durability for off-road adventures.

But it’s not just about toughness, it’s about style too. The incorporation of rally-style Rota alloys, complemented by rugged off-road biased tyres, presents a bold aesthetic statement. Let us not forget the iconic Rothmans livery adorning the body, a nod to motorsport heritage that commands attention wherever it roams.

Beneath the surface, substantial mechanical enhancements have been made. A software upgrade has unleashed the full potential of the 3.0-litre turbodiesel engine, now boasting an impressive output of 210 kW. To ensure optimal power delivery, a limited-slip differential has been integrated, facilitating traction on even the most challenging terrain.

But the modifications don’t end there, e65overland has ambitious plans to further enhance the E65’s off-road capabilities with the installation of custom long-travel coilovers, promising even greater agility and control in diverse driving conditions. Despite initial criticisms of its design, the E65 has undergone a remarkable transformation. The addition of a two-inch suspension lift and Hella quad lights has not only improved its appearance but also its functionality, elevating its off-road prowess.

Those 18-inch Rota wheels wrapped in Yokohama Geolandar tyres not only enhance the vehicle’s aesthetics but also underscore its rugged, adventurous spirit.
