Fiat is planning a fairly exciting expansion after Olivier Francois, Fiat’s CEO and Stellantis Global CMO, presented the brand’s forthcoming launches from Italy’s very own “Geneva” in a video.

Fiat is a global brand with 1.3 million cars sold last year and solid leadership in many parts of the world. We are in a global game and our next step will be to transition from local products to a global offer that can benefit all of our customers everywhere in the world. We are excited to share this glimpse into our future; a very near future, actually, since the first car will be presented in 4 months during the brand’s 125th anniversary celebration. That car will then be followed by 1 new model every year.” – Olivier Francois.

In this video, the Italian automaker has unveiled an exciting lineup of five concept cars set to inspire upcoming production models, all built on a shared global platform. The first model, slated for a July debut this year, will kick off a series of annual launches continuing through 2027.

The initial concept is a city car, slightly larger than the current Panda on which all of these models share a spirit of. Drawing design inspiration from Fiat’s Lingotto building in Turin, featuring an iconic oval-shaped test track on its roof, Francois mentions that the models hark back to the brand’s long history. Oval motifs adorn the vehicle’s interior, including the dashboard, displays, and headrests, complemented by recycled materials like plastics and bamboo. Fiat promises a range of powertrains, from battery-electric to internal combustion engines.

Following this is a bakkie concept inspired by the successful Strada in Brazil, aiming for global appeal with its retro, boxy styling that blends fun and functionality. This is expected to arrive sooner rather than later although details remain limited.

Accompanying this is an SUV variant and a camper model, boasting rugged aesthetics, elevated ride height, and off-road tires, positioned as versatile “do-it-all vehicles.”
