At the esteemed concourse event in Italy, which has become synonymous with the world’s most beautiful vintage cars since 1929 and the most captivating prototypes since 2022, the new Alfa Romeo 33 Stradale was awarded the prestigious “Design Concept Award.” This accolade affirms the 33 Stradale’s status as a distinctive and exceptional work of automotive art.

This marks the fifth occasion that an Alfa Romeo has secured this award, following in the footsteps of the Brera, 8C Competizione, 8C Spider, TZ3, and Alfa Romeo 4C Concept models. Notably, Alfa Romeo is the only brand to have won both the “Coppa d’Oro” and the “Design Concept Award” in the same year. This rare feat was first achieved in 2002 with the Alfa Romeo 6C 1750 and Alfa Romeo Brera, and again in 2012 with the Alfa Romeo 6C 1750 GS (series 6, 1933) and Alfa Romeo 4C Concept.

This year, the spotlight was on the new 33 Stradale, which embodies the Italian brand’s prowess in design and driving dynamics, both now and in the future. The new custom-built vehicle is directly inspired by the Tipo 33, a celebrated name in the automotive world and an icon of the 1960s, still revered as one of the most beautiful cars ever made. Limited to just 33 exclusive units, this two-seater coupé marries heritage with futuristic design, produced through an artisanal process reminiscent of Renaissance workshops and the 1960s ateliers of famed Italian coachbuilders.
