The Nardò circuit, renowned for its cutting-edge facilities, was an obvious choice for Alfa Romeo to evaluate the 33 Stradale’s dynamic capabilities. During testing, the Italian marque concentrated on crucial parameters such as aerodynamics, cooling efficiency, noise insulation, and high-speed stability … And the results reaffirmed the car’s exceptional performance credentials, including a top speed of 333 km/h and 0-100 km/h acceleration time of under three seconds.

Powering the 33 Stradale is a 3.0-litre, twin-turbocharged V6 engine, which produces over 462 kW. Mounted mid-ships, the powertrain is paired with an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission, which exclusively sends drive to the rear wheels. This setup builds on Alfa Romeo’s established engineering expertise, while pushing the boundaries of performance for the brand. Aerodynamics have been a key focus, with every line of the 33 Stradale’s exterior meticulously refined to balance aesthetics and functionality.

The test also highlighted the effectiveness of the car’s Brembo-supplied, carbon-ceramic brake setup, which features ventilated and perforated discs, along with six-piston front and four-piston rear callipers. The brake-by-wire configuration ensures precise pedal feedback and impressive stopping power, with the car being brought to a halt from 100 km/h to a standstill in a distance under 33 metres. Production of the (hand-built) 33 Stradale will be limited to just 33 units.
