Aston Martin has partnered with Curv Racing Simulators to create the Valkyrie-inspired AMR-C01-R; a high-end (R1.3 million!) racing simulator designed for serious virtual racers. We can all dream, but here is all you need to know…

With only 50 units available and a starting price of approximately R1.3 million, this is far from a standard gaming setup—it’s a purpose-built machine delivering an immersive and realistic driving experience.

The collaboration between these two brands is rooted in a shared vision of bringing real-world motorsport design into the virtual space. Curv Racing, founded by professional racer Darren Turner, provided the technical know-how, while Aston Martin infused its signature design and craftsmanship. The result is a simulator built around a carbon fibre monocoque, similar to that of an actual race car, with styling cues taken from the Valkyrie hypercar.

One of the biggest improvements over the previous AMR-C01 model is in driver comfort. The revised seating position, inspired by the Valkyrie, accommodates taller drivers more comfortably. A repositioned control panel makes adjustments easier, while a redesigned grille improves cooling—an essential feature given the powerful hardware inside. That hardware includes a 49-inch curved G95C display with a 240Hz refresh rate and 1ms response time for smooth, immersive visuals. An NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 GPU, Intel 14th-gen processor, 32GB of DDR5 RAM, and 2TB of storage ensure top-tier performance, eliminating lag and providing an ultra-responsive racing experience.

Aston Martin’s Chief Creative Officer, Marek Reichman, describes the AMR-C01-R as a “sculptural work of art” that could complement any luxury home. But beyond its aesthetics, the real question is whether the performance justifies the steep price tag. For those who demand the best in sim racing, this could be the ultimate setup. Deliveries for the AMR-C01-R are set to begin in April 2025, and with only 50 units up for grabs, exclusivity is guaranteed. Whether it becomes a benchmark for racing simulators or just another expensive collector’s item remains to be seen.
