Facelifted Hyundai Tucson: Pricing and Specs
Hyundai has introduced the refreshed Tucson to South African shores, with the 2025 line-up now featuring three trim levels: buyers can choose between the 2.0 Premium AT, diesel-powered R2.0D Executive AT and range-topping R2.0D N Line AWD AT.

Though subtle, the revisions made to to the (updated) Hyundai Tucson’s exterior give it a sharper, more modern look. At the front, the signature parametric grille remains, but is now paired with a more purposeful-looking bumper. The rear end features a redesigned skid plate and bumper to visually enhance the the midsize SUV’s stance.
Inside, Hyundai has made several notable upgrades. The cabin now features a curved panoramic panel that houses the infotainment display and instrument binnacle. The floating centre console adds a premium touch, while the wraparound dashboard design is meant to make the cabin feel more spacious and driver-focused.

Under the bonnet, the entry-level, 2.0-litre petrol model produces 115 kW and 192 N.m. This variant is paired with a six-speed automatic gearbox and offers a claimed fuel consumption of 8.9 L/100 km. A diesel derivative is also available. The N Line variant adds all-wheel drive for more versatility. The turbocharged diesel powertrain churns out 137 kW and 416 N.m of torque.
Standard features in the 2.0 Premium AT include Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, wireless charging, cruise control and rear air conditioning. Safety tech includes parking sensors, a rear-view camera and blind-spot monitoring. LED headlamps and 18-inch alloy wheels are also included in the package, along with leather upholstery and a leather-wrapped steering wheel and gear lever.
