Mansory’s Gold-Plated Mercedes-AMG G 63 is As Opulent As it Gets
The Mercedes-AMG G 63 is already a head-turner, but Mansory’s “Grande Entrée” takes things further with a longer wheelbase, a luxury-focused interior, and a blinged matte gold exterior. And yes, it is real, and it is for sale for someone wanting the ultimate amount of flash…

Mansory and Brabus both unveiled their interpretation of the latest generation AMG G 63. But while those are both niche products looking to win over some affluent buyers, perhaps one of the most is a model Mansory unveiled last year.
The vehicle started life as a standard G 63, but after Mansory’s makeover, it now boasts a significantly longer body. The wheelbase extension has allowed the tuner to reconfigure the cabin layout. In the rear, you’ll find two individual captain’s chairs that recline and offer ample legroom. A bespoke centre console, ambient LED lighting, and cream leather with brown accents help elevate the cabin’s luxury appeal.
Although it first broke cover last year, this particular example is currently listed for sale at Mansory’s dealership in Dubai—an appropriate setting for such a flashy creation. The UAE is no stranger to G-Classes, but one dipped in matte gold, complete with flared arches, a revised bonnet, and suicide rear doors, is guaranteed to turn heads, even among the Rolls-Royces and Lamborghinis.

Mansory has left no panel untouched. The SUV wears a redesigned front end with a custom grille and unique LED daytime running lights. The wheel arches have been widened, and new side-exit exhaust pipes are tucked just beneath the running boards. The wheels also wear the same matte gold paint as the bodywork, continuing the look of excess throughout.
The Grande Entrée also bumps power from the 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 up to a massive 662 kW and 1 200 N.m. That’s enough to push the extended SUV from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.3 seconds and on to a top speed of 250 km/h. The price of all this power? A fuel consumption figure of 14.7 l/100km and 350 g/km of CO₂ emissions.

While the asking price remains under wraps, the Grande Entrée would very obviously cost a fortune for buyers wanting ultimate opulence.
