Mansory’s Pugnator Is a Lesson on What Not to Do to a Purosangue

If Ferrari ever plans on sending a cease and desist order, this tricolore ‘Pugnator’ Purosangue from Mansory is one that most people with eyes would agree with.

Mansory really have been at it lately. And by it, most would agree, means to create some of the boldest and controversial expressions of high-end sports cars. The German tuner has now worked on the Purosangue again, to birth the Mansory Pugnator Tricolore. The reception on this has been the usual astonishment.

It’s impossible to miss. Drenched in a head-turning “Vermillion” red alongside a white and green fade (as the name suggests), the Pugnator Tricolore flaunts forged carbon fibre everywhere and enough accessory add-ons to make a Kentucky Rounder Corolla coming out of an Autostyle look tame. The two-part roof spoiler and Mansory’s forged “FC.5” wheels—22 inches at the front (23 at the rear) complete the exterior overhaul. Just wow.

Fortunately, it isn’t all bad news. The 6.5-litre V12 has been massaged to produce 555 kW and 730 N.m, up from the stock car’s already potent output. That’s courtesy of ECU tweaks and a new four-flow sports exhaust system with flap control, which should help in getting this out of the sight line of any bystanders as quickly as possible.

As can be expected, the interior hasn’t been spared though. This particular Pugnator Tricolore features ivory leather with bold red accents, carbon fibre trim, and a leather-wrapped sports steering wheel complete with shift lights. Mansory logos are embroidered just about everywhere, the seatbelts get a custom colour treatment, and the aluminium pedals and bespoke floor mats round off the opulent, high-performance aesthetic.

As with most Mansory creations, exclusivity is part of the package—this is a one-off build, and pricing is strictly “if you have to ask…” territory. As much as this feels like a meme now, we’re certain that if Ferrari was ever going to send a cease and desist order, now would be the best time…
