Mercedes V-Class Gets Pimped by Mansory and Wears Rolls-Royce Grille
Mansory has been busy, and its latest project has involved Mzansi’s favourite, the Mercedes-Benz V-Class. Unveiled at Auto Shanghai 2025 and targeting China’s luxury chauffeur van market, it is exactly what would be expected from the German tuner.

Mansory don’t hold back when they envision a new creation. Imbuing their craft from almost any premium marque’s flagship models, the latest to undergo their signature bold treatment is Mercedes-Benz and its V-Class. Shown at the 2025 Shanghai Auto Show, the Rolls-Royce-inspired minivan seems like a lounge on wheels.
Outside, the V-Class receives a bold new face, dominated by a massive Parthenon-style chrome-plated grille. The front bumper has been reshaped to include additional LED daytime running lights, while carbon fibre accents cover the bonnet, mirror caps, and side skirts. It’s a heavy-handed but unmistakably Mansory approach. The exterior is finished off with custom wheels and flared fender extensions. Several variants were on display in Shanghai, wearing contrasting two-tone colour schemes—like black and white or black and brown—adding even more flair to an already loud design.

Inside, the transformation goes from bold to borderline absurd. The cabin is trimmed with quilted leather and bathed in ambient lighting. Tech features and luxury touches are everywhere, including a partition between driver and passengers, complete with an intercom system for when conversation is necessary. It’s all designed to offer an S-Class-like experience but with van-sized space.
Mansory is also known for tuning engines in its supercar builds, but in the case of the V-Class, there’s no word on any performance upgrades. This time, the emphasis is clearly on styling and interior comfort, making the most of the V-Class’s natural strengths as a spacious and versatile people mover.
In China, the market for high-end people movers is thriving. Vehicles like the Toyota Alphard and Buick GL8 have long been favoured by executives and VIPs, and Mansory’s take on the V-Class is clearly aimed at the same audience. With its over-the-top design and lounge-like interior, this version turns a practical van into something bordering on a mobile luxury suite.
Don’t expect to see this version of the V-Class outside China any time soon—but for that market, it might be just outrageous enough to work.
