Set against the backdrop of Villa Sucota, Alfa Romeo plans on transforming the venue into “Casa Alfa Romeo,” showcasing around 15 of its most significant race cars. These include models from the Alfa Romeo Museum in Arese and select vehicles from private collections. The curated lineup reflects Alfa Romeo’s long-standing influence in motorsport, from pre-war endurance racing to Formula 1 dominance and sports car championships.

Among the oldest on display is the 1930 6C 1750 Gran Sport. With a supercharged inline six engine and lightweight Zagato coachwork, it was a force in early motorsport. Tazio Nuvolari famously drove one to victory in the 1930 Mille Miglia, averaging 100 km/h across the entire route—an unprecedented achievement at the time.

The 1965 Giulia TZ2 represents Alfa Romeo’s success in the GT class. Designed by Zagato and built on a tubular chassis with a fibreglass body, it featured a 1.6-litre twincam engine with dry sump lubrication and dual ignition. The TZ2 scored victories at Monza, Sebring, the Targa Florio and the Nürburgring, combining performance with a distinctive aerodynamic silhouette.
Also featured is the 1975 33 TT12. Developed for the World Championship for Makes, it was powered by a 3.0-litre flat-12 engine producing over 370 kW. The car won seven of eight races during the 1975 season, securing Alfa Romeo the title. Drivers such as Arturo Merzario, Mario Andretti and Jacky Ickx played key roles in its success. Formula 1 heritage is represented by the 1951 GP Tipo 159 “Alfetta.” An evolution of the pre-war 158, it was driven by Juan Manuel Fangio to his first world title. The car featured a De Dion rear suspension and a two-stage supercharged 1.5-litre inline-eight engine capable of reaching 336 kW.

Rounding out the collection is the 33 Stradale, Alfa Romeo’s latest halo car. Limited to just 33 units and already sold out, it revives the name and spirit of the 1967 original with modern performance and bespoke craftsmanship. Together, these cars form a timeline of Alfa Romeo’s racing legacy—machines built not only to win but to captivate.
