Q by Aston Martin, the British marque’s bespoke division, is celebrating the 60th anniversary of this proud British brand’s open-top model history with special-edition Vanquish and DB12 Volante derivatives. Only 60 examples of each will be produced, bringing the total to 120 60th anniversary Volantes.

The Vanquish and DB12 Volante special editions are finished in Q Pentland Green and feature a Q Westminster Green bonnet. Anodised bronze accents complement the exterior hue, including on the grille and billet aluminium side strake. The 21-inch diamond-cut Q wheels, finished in satin bronze, are set against black ‘Aston Martin’-branded brake callipers. The enamelled ‘Q by Aston Martin’ badge further distinguishes the anniversary editions from their “standard” stablemates.

Inside, the cabin blends centenary saddle tan, ivory and woven leathers with dark walnut panels finished in a natural matte and bronze touchpoints. A ’60th Anniversary’ emblem is embroidered on the headrests, as well as engraved onto the leather seatbacks.

As a reminder, the Vanquish Volante is powered by a 5.2-litre twin-turbo V12 that churns out 614 kW and 1 000 N.m. Aston Martin claims their flagship convertible sprints from 0-100 km/h in just 3.4 seconds, before topping out at 344 km/h, making it the fastest series-production Aston Martin convertible yet. The DB12 Volante’s twin-turbo V8 produces 500 kW and 800 N.m of torque. This super-tourer accelerates to 100 km/h from a standstill in a claimed 3.6 seconds, with the top speed rated at 325 km/h.

These 60th Anniversary Aston Martin Volantes mark six decades of the brand’s convertible heritage, while showcasing the extensive customisation possibilities available through its Q division. Deliveries for each model will begin later this year.
