Created as part of the Maserati Fuoriserie personalisation programme, the Grecale Tributo Il Bruciato was designed by Maserati in collaboration with renowned Florance-based wine company Marchesi Antinori. Finished in Alchimia Scarlatta, a shade inspired by the intense red of wine in motion in a glass, this bespoke Grecale’s sculpted bodywork takes on “a thousand” different hues depending on how it reflects in light, the carmaker says. To create this unique paintwork, a special pigment known as Chromaflair was used.
The Grecale Tributo Il Bruciato can be had with the option of two 21-inch wheel designs – Pegaso Forgiati or Crio Fuoriserie. Gloss black finish for the alloys are available as an option. Sited behind the rims, the brake callipers are finished in black and feature the Fuoriserie logo.
Stepping inside, the interior is upholstered in dual-tone Tan and Dark Red leather, replete with contrast stitching and dedicated ‘cannelloni’ (ribbed weave) visuals. The Trident logo can be found on the headrests. Included in the package, among all the items already fitted as standard, are a panoramic sunroof and Sonus 14-speaker audio system.
As a reminder, locally, the Grecale is available in two flavours: Modena and Trofeo. The former model employs a 2.0-litre, four-cylinder turbocharged petrol-electric powertrain, which produces 243 kW and 450 N.m of torque. According to Maserati, these figures allow the Modena to dispatch the 0-100 km/h dash in 5.3 seconds, before topping out at 240 km/h. The Trofeo is equipped with a 3.0-litre turbocharged V6 petrol unit. Producing 390 kW and 620 N.m, the company claims this variant completes the obligatory 0-100 km/h sprint in 3.8 seconds. The Trofeo tops out at 285 km/h. Both models are equipped with an eight-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drivetrain.
Said the Italian luxury automaker, “Designed and created in collaboration with Marchesi Antinori, one of the oldest and most prestigious wine-making families in the world, Grecale Tributo Il Bruciato symbolises the encounter between the elegant dynamism of the House of the Trident and the decisive character of Il Bruciato wine.”
