Revealed in September 2025, the revered ‘Testarossa’ nameplate returned to a Prancing Horse with the 849 Testarossa. The successor to the SF90, the 849 Testarossa employs a plug-in hybrid (PHEV) powertrain comprising a 610 kW/842 N.m 4.0-litre twin-turbocharged V8 internal combustion engine (ICE) and a trio of electric motors — the latter producing a combined 161 kW. In total, the 849 Testarossa’s PHEV arrangement produces an eye-widening 772 kW. Power is delivered to all four corners via an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission.
According to Ferrari, the 849 Testarossa’s peak outputs allow for a whip-crack 2.3-second 0-100 km sprint time. The petol-electric Prancing Horse dispatches the 0-200 km/h dash in a claimed 6.35 seconds. The Maranello manufacturer claims a top speed in excess of 330 km/h.
