We have rounded up the best-selling Chinese car brands in South Africa in November 2025. See the list below.
Naamsa has reported that local new-car sales continued to record a strong performance towards the end of the year, with 54 896 units sold in November 2025. Of the latter figure, the passenger-car segment accounted for 71.3% of sales in the eleventh month of 2025. We take a closer look at how the Chinese automakers fared last month. (It is worth noting that, for this list, we’ve listed the subsidiaries of each company individually. For example, GWM and Haval, and Chery and Omoda & Jaecoo.)
5. GWM – 978

Once again, the P-Series proved to be the best-selling model for GWM in the eleventh month of 2025, with the 665 P-Series units sold positioning it as one of SA’s top five best-selling bakkies in November 2025. The Tank 300 was GWM’s second most popular vehicle; recording 184 units sold last month.
4. Jetour – 1 235

In November 2025, Jetour’s total sales increased by 379 units, with the recently launched T2 accounting for 545 units of the total new vehicles sold by the Wuhu-based automaker’s local arm. The Dashing was the second most popular Jetour model last month, with 366 units sold in November 2025.

Compared to October 2025, Omoda & Jaecoo saw a 97-unit increase in sales in November. The C5, which was was recently updated, proved to be this Chery sub-brand’s most popular model; recording 777 units sold last month.
2. Haval – 1 556

Despite seeing a decrease in sales in November 2025, with 148 less units sold than the previous month, Haval recorded 1 556 units sold. The Jolion was once again the GWM sub-brand’s best-seller, with this model accounting for the lion’s share of sales – 1 132 units of the overall 1 556 units sold.
1. Chery – 2 506

One of the best-selling car brands in SA in November 2025, Chery’s overall sales increased by 296 units, with the Tiggo 4 Pro and Tiggo Cross accounting for 1 838 of the firm’s 2 506 total units sold in November 2025. As such, the Tiggo 4 Pro/Cross managed to retain a podium position among SA’s top 10 best-selling passenger cars in November 2025.
