Land Rover Classic has unveiled a collection of four colour-changing Classic Defender V8s, commissioned by a single client through its Works Bespoke programme. This range of unique  Defenders includes a 90 Station Wagon, 90 Soft Top, 110 Station Wagon and the newly introduced 110 Double Cab Pick-Up. While not featured in this specific commission, the 90 Hard Top body style is now also available for commissioning alongside the existing Classic Defender V8 lineup.

Showcasing the level of customisation possible through Land Rover Classic’s Works Bespoke service, each Defender is finished in colour-shifting ‘Spectral Green’, which transitions between green, purple, and gold. The body hue is contrasted by ‘Icy White’ finishes for the roof, expedition cage, ‘Defender’ lettering on the bonnet, and hand-painted coachlines. The diamond-turned 18-inch ‘Sawtooth’ alloy wheels and exterior badging are also painted in ‘Spectral Green’, to match the bodywork.

The exterior hue extends into the cabin, ‘Spectral Green’ has been applied to the central facia panels. The seats are upholstered in semi‑aniline ‘Bridge of Weir Vanilla’ leather, replete with contrast green stitching. The interior further features Superwool carpets, bound in ‘Bridge of Weir’ leather, and model-specific floor mats. New options include an integrated touchscreen infotainment system, replete with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity.

Each of the Classic Defender V8s is based on an original Defender produced between the 2012 and 2016 model years. The remastered Defender’s naturally aspirated 5.0-litre V8 produces 298 kW and 515 N.m of torque, and is paired with an eight-speed ZF automatic transmission.
