The Volkswagen Tiguan Allspace – specification and pricing!
The Tiguan Allspace arrived in Mzansi a few months ago, here is pricing and specification of the seven-seater T SUV from Volkswagen.
Forming one of the four pillars of VW’s T SUV family – T-Cross, T-Roc, Tiguan and Touareg – the Tiguan Allspace has sold more than 1,7 million units globally since its global launch in 2017. Locally, over 7 000 of these vehicles have been sold since its 2018 introduction.
What has changed on the new Tiguan Allspace
Featuring an updated design and space for up to seven people, the new Tiguan receives the same updates that the new Tiguan has such as sharper head- and taillights a digital cockpit and comprehensive connectivity. IQ.LIGHT LED matrix headlights are also now available for the popular model which offer adaptive lighting technology.
ROAD TEST: Volkswagen Tiguan 2,0 TSI 4Motion DSG
In terms of powertrain, three options are available – 1,4 TSI with 110 kW/250 N.m mated to a 6-speed DSG transmission, 2,0 TSI with 132 kW/320 N.m mated to a 7-speed DSG transmission and 2,0 TSI with 162 kW/350 N.m also mated to a 7-speed DSG transmission, as well as three equipment packages; Life, Style and the top-of-the-range R-Line. Mated to the 4Motion AWD system, the 2,0 TSI models have a towing capacity of 2,5-tonnes.
Visually, upfront sees an illuminated radiator grille and dynamic turn signals give the Tiguan Allspace a distinctive face. The optional IQ.LIGHT LED matrix headlights offer added safety and complement the newly refreshed LED tail light clusters. Two new paint options and optional 18-inch, 19-inch and 20-inch R-Line alloys are available, too.
Digital Cockpit Pro is fitted as standard along with a new multi-function steering wheel, 8,0-inch infotainment system and a new touch-sensitive control panel for the 3-zone automatic climate control.

The Tiguan Allspace comes standard with a 3 year/120 000km warranty, a 5 year/ 90 000 km Service Plan and a 12-year anti-corrosion warranty with service intervals of 15 000 km.
