Manhart’s TR 900 is a R10 million Porsche 911 GT2 RS

If the track-ready Porsche 911 GT2 RS isn’t hardcore enough, Manhart now has their 705 kW TR 900 available with plenty of carbon fibre bits.

Not many people would consider the 991 generation Porsche 911 GT2 RS a slouch. Essentially a GT2 car with an indicator stalk and number plate mount, the models that rolled off of the Stuttgart production line put out a healthy 515 kW and 750 N.m of twin-turbocharged flat-six goodness.

Apparently, throwing on a few bolt-on toys can push that power all the way up to 705 kW and 1 050 N.m which is exactly what Manhart has done with their TR 900 model. The German tuner has taken the existing 911 GT2 RS and completely unleashed an animal capable of blistering lap times. This is courtesy of a Mapswitch ECU remap along with a set of TTH 1000 turbochargers and CSF intercooler kit which includes a signifcantly larger front-radiator fan.

Other mechanical powertrain goodies include an IPD aluminium manifold and Manhart downpipes by Kline Innovation which retain their catalytic converters meaning the TR 900 remains street-legal. This significant jump in power includes an upgrade to the 7-speed PDK transmission while the exterior is immediately recognisable as a Manhart creation along with some carbon bits.

Gold pinstripes curtail the Midnight Dark Green on the exterior which continues onto the standard Y-spoke centre lock rims. Manhart decorative lettering is included on elements of the windscreen and bodywork and DB Carbon branded carbon fibre is used throughout the exterior. This includes a front splitter with flank extensions, front intake frames, side skirts and a diffuser.

Pricing on the all-powerful TR 900 is as great as its performance figures with the website listing it at €550 000 or around R10 million.
