G63 Grand Edition: exclusive release limited to just 1 000 units

Mercedes-AMG has unveiled a limited-edition version of the AMG G63 SUV called the Grand Edition, with only 1 000 units set to be produced. This high-performance variant boasts distinctive visual enhancements both inside and out wearing a shade of gold.

The AMG G63 Grand Edition stands out with its special Manufaktur night black magno paint, which complements the contrasting colour scheme. Gold embellishments can be found on the front and rear bumper inlays, front underbody protection plate, spare wheel ring, and spare wheel star emblem.

With its iconic and unmistakable design, reminiscent of the original model from 1979, the G-Class makes a bold statement. It comes equipped with forged 22-inch AMG wheels finished in tech gold, accentuated by matte black central locking nuts. The Mercedes stars on the wheels are also presented in gold.

Inside the G63 Grand Edition, the black-and-gold theme continues, creating a striking cabin atmosphere. The SUV showcases AMG emblems on the black door sill trim, seats wrapped in luxurious Manufaktur black Nappa leather with gold contrast stitching and leather-wrapped roof grab handles. Mercedes has meticulously crafted other trim elements using carbon with copper thread, adding a touch of sophistication.

Following the introduction of the G500 Final Edition, which signifies the end of V8 engines in that particular trim, Mercedes presents another delightful offering with the Grand Edition. Notably, there are no changes to the powertrain of either the G63 Grand Edition or the G500 Final Edition. The G500 houses a twin-turbocharged 4,0-litre V8 engine that generates 310 kW of power and 610 N.m of torque. The AMG G63, also featuring a twin-turbo 4,0-litre V8, delivers an impressive 430 kW and 850 N.m of torque.
