Suzuki SA rebuts claims that Land Cruiser model adoption rumours

Rumours and wishful renderings have suggested that a Suzuki-badged Land Cruiser model is in the pipeline, however, Suzuki SA has confirmed that’s far from the truth. Image: Render Last week a render popped up with a caption that alluded to the seemingly imminent adoption of Toyota’s Herculean Land Cruiser 300 model in Suzuki’s range which consists mainly of compact models. Furthermore, it also stated that the supposed Suzuki-badged Land Cruiser would be placed under the “S-Presso” moniker. Mahindra Scorpio N Bakkie Teased Ahead of Local Arrival

Mahindra has recently teased the new Scorpio N bakkie that is scheduled to be unveiled in Cape Town on the 15th of August 2023, while the production version is expected to arrive early in 2025. Not many details have been disclosed about the model so far, but it is known that, like the anticipated five-door Thar, the upcoming Mahindra bakkie will be based on the Scorpio N platform which features a longer wheelbase. Toyota’s sub-division , Gazoo Racing, begins its life in the local market by drip-feeding offshoots of popular monikers. Now, the GR badge can be found in almost half of the firm’s local range. Following the recent debut of the new Mitsubishi Triton bakkie, the brand has now unveiled its competition version, which is set to participate in the Asia Cross Country Rally taking place in Thailand and Laos in August .
