Audi RS6 and RS7 Bronze Edition debut with new styling cues
Audi’s latest RS6 and RS7 Bronze Edition don’t only boast some upgraded exterior trim but bigger turbos with more boost churning out a whopping 463 kW and 850 N.m. Are these the ultimate Audi RS models then?
Clad in a stunning deep black paint job, complemented by resplendent gold wheels, the Audi RS6 Avant and RS7 Bronze Editions provide a trim package one notch above the standard model. Not stopping at appearance alone, Audi has imbued these special editions with enhanced features and an increased top speed, elevating the driving experience to new heights.
Built upon the foundation of the new Performance trim, the RS6 and RS7 Bronze Editions harness the might of a formidable 4,0-litre twin-turbo V8 engine. With larger turbos and heightened boost, they generate a breathtaking 463 kW of power and an awe-inspiring 850 N.m of torque.

Audi engineers have spared no effort in refining the performance of these masterpieces. The inclusion of a smaller and lighter centre differential ensures nimble handling, while the newly designed 22-inch wheels, enveloped in sticky Continental Contact Sport 7 summer tires, deliver a precise grip on the road, all while reducing weight by 5 kg per corner.
The Bronze Edition cars arrive in a lustrous Sebring Black crystal effect paint, tastefully paired with matte neodymium gold five-spoke wheels that exude a motorsport-inspired allure. Complementing the exterior aesthetics are black-painted callipers and glossy carbon trim.
Stepping into the cabin, occupants are enveloped in opulence, courtesy of the Audi exclusive Valcona leather package, accentuated by bronze contrast stitching. Further enhancing the experience is a synthetic suede headliner, creating an environment that exudes both luxury and sportiness.
As a testament to their exclusivity, these models come equipped with a host of standard upgrades, including a high-performance Bang & Olufsen sound system, a sport exhaust system boasting black tips, and Dynamic Ride Control. The latter replaces the air suspension with three-way adjustable hydraulic dampers and steel springs, ensuring optimal handling and comfort.
The Bronze Edition cars also receive a substantial performance boost, as Audi graciously raises the electronic speed limiter from 250 km/h to an impressive 280 km/h, further amplifying the exhilaration of the driving experience. With the utmost exclusivity in mind, Audi plans to limit the availability of these exceptional vehicles in the United States.
A mere 125 Bronze Edition cars will be sold, with the RS6 Avant accounting for 75 units and the remaining 50 reserved for the RS7. While the pricing of these extraordinary machines remains undisclosed at present, it is unlikely that these special editions will arrive on South African shores.
