This vehicle draws its design inspiration from the iconic Ferrari 550 Maranello, blending modern elements with classic proportions to create a harmonious and elegant restomod.

The Veloce12 stands as a testament to the art of restomodding, taking the revered Ferrari 550 Maranello of the 1990s to new heights. The extensive revision work on this model comes with a hefty price tag of over 690 000 Euros (approximately R13.5 million), not including the cost of the donor car. Under the metal, the Veloce12 houses a meticulously upgraded 5.5-liter V12 engine. With a substantial power upgrade, this performance vehicle now generates a formidable 372 kW, surpassing its original output of 359 kW. Despite this increase, the torque remains unchanged at 568 N.m. The vehicle retains its six-speed manual transmission, ensuring that the driving experience remains true to its roots. Performance figures for acceleration and top speed remain consistent with the original.

Touring Superleggera plans to produce only 30 units of the Veloce12, highlighting the exclusivity of this restomod. Visually, the Veloce12 distinguishes itself with significant yet tasteful modifications. While the overall design hints at its Ferrari 550 Maranello origins, the bodywork has been reshaped to offer a softer, more refined aesthetic. These changes, though subtle, make the Veloce12 unique while maintaining its inherent beauty.

Craftsmanship and attention to detail are paramount in the Veloce12. The body is constructed from lightweight carbon fibre, replacing traditional aluminium and steel. This material shift not only enhances performance but also modernizes the vehicle’s appearance. Both the front and rear light clusters have been redesigned, further setting the Veloce12 apart from its predecessor. The chassis has been reinforced to align with its enhanced performance capabilities.

New Brembo brake callipers with six pistons at the front and four pistons at the rear significantly improve braking efficiency. Additionally, the Veloce12 is equipped with TracTive suspension with adjustable damping, ensuring that it handles like a contemporary sports car while retaining its classic GT appeal.
