The RS 6 Avant GT represents the final model in this legendary series to feature a pure internal-combustion engine. As such, Audi expects significant interest from collectors.

Sascha Sauer, Head of Audi South Africa, emphasized the model’s importance, stating, “The Audi RS 6 Avant GT marks the end of an illustrious era for the famed RS 6 series. The GT is more than just a car; it represents the apex of our engineering excellence and a legacy of which we are immensely proud.”

Inspired by the 2020 RS 6 GTO concept, a project led by Audi apprentices, the RS 6 Avant GT draws from the design of the iconic Audi 90 quattro IMSA GTO race car from 1989. Packed with exclusive exterior and interior features, the vehicle boasts a pass-through roof edge spoiler, a redesigned diffuser, 22-inch wheels, and lightweight adjustable coilover suspension. Inside, the cabin offers bucket seats, a heritage-inspired colour scheme, and individual vehicle numbering.
