Volvo South Africa Unveils Accessory Range for EX90 Flagship SUV

Volvo’s EX90 flagship can now be tricked out at the dealership with some official accessories from the Swedish automaker.

Volvo Car South Africa has launched a specifically curated range of accessories for its new flagship electric SUV, the EX90. The new add-ons for the Scandinavian model are touted to take the EX90’s premium appeal to the next step of functionality and convenience. The lineup includes integrated Running Boards and a Foldable Towbar (which can pull a rated 2 200 kg towing capacity). Other additions include Volvo’s Digital Interior Rearview Mirror, Rear Camera Washer, Kick Guards, and All-Weather Floor Mats.

Volvo has added that it intends to keep true to the brand’s family-first ethos by rolling out a series of child-focused accessories, including a Booster Seat, Wool Booster Cushion, and a Rearward-Facing Child Seat designed for easy access. For those who consider their dog a co-pilot, there’s a Dog Harness, Steel Grille, and a Dog Gate, ensuring furry friend travels as securely as any human passenger.

Moving out of doing school runs and mall trips, the Volvo accessory range for South Africa now includes lifestyle components like bicycle holders (towbar- or roof-mounted), kayak and ski gear holders, and a Retractable Roof Tent. An Active Travel Roof Box and Towbar Cargo Box help the sizable SUV for any additional luggage, while a Roof Basket with Extender is intended to handle any awkwardly shaped gear.

Volvo offers a Load Compartment Distributor, Protective Mats, Nets, and a Luggage Cover to keep boot placed gear stowed correctly. A Bumper Cover rounds off the practical touches, defending against luggage-induced scuffs.

“This isn’t about sticking on a few add-ons and calling it a day,” says Felipe Yagi, Head of Marketing and Communications at Volvo Car South Africa. “It’s about helping EX90 owners express their lifestyles through beautifully designed, intelligent accessories that make every journey a Volvo experience.”

The full range of accessories is now available at Volvo retailers across South Africa and online.
