Billed as the ultimate Airbnb experience, Little Talladega comprises an 808 m2 mansion, replete with eight automotive-themed rooms, ranging from the ‘Bugatti’ room to the ‘Ricky Bobby’ room, and the ‘Drive-In’ theatre room, which features truck beds and a movie projector.
However, the most notable feature of this Airbnb is what’s surrounding the house – a drift track. Don’t own a drift car? Well, all-electric drift karts are included in the package, as are go-karts. And guests also have the opportunity to go for a shotgun ride in a real drift car. But what if you do own a drift car? Well, you’ll first have to get approval from the Airbnb prior to booking. In addition to these activities, the Airbnb also offers a selection of off-road trails, which visitors can traverse with quad bikes.
It’s not an all-automotive affair, however – there are several other activities, too. The latter includes tennis and basketball courts, a one-hole golf course, and a fishing pond, among an array of other amenities.
So, how much does it cost to stay at Little Talladega? Well, R53 900 per evening. Though, it is worth noting that the booking requires a minimum stay of three nights. So, the complete rental will set you back R161 700…and that’s excluding county and state tax — R2 726.26 and R6 831.83, respectively — and cleaning fees, the latter of which is R15 451.34. So, at the end, you’re looking at around R186 000.
