Jetour T1 & T2 in SA: Price & Specs

The Jetour T1 and T2 have made local landfall, with the Chinese automaker’s South African arm announcing pricing and specs for the duo of T-Series crossover/SUVs. See pricing below.

The most compact T-Series in the Chinese carmaker’s local portfolio, the T1 measures 4 705 mm in length, 1 967 mm in width, and 1 843 mm in height. The ground clearance is rated at 190 mm. The T2 stands 1 880 mm tall, with a ground clearance of 220 mm, and measures 4 785 mm front to rear and 2 006 mm wide. Both models’ wheelbases span 2 800 mm.

Underpinned by monocoque chassis, both the T1 and T2 are available with two four-cylinder turbocharged petrol powertrains: 1.5-litre and 2.0-litre – the former and latter producing 125 kW/270 N.m and 180 kW/375 N.m, respectively. While both engines are coupled with seven-speed dual-clutch transmissions, the 1.5-litre unit exclusively sends drive to the front wheels, with the 2.0-litre delivering power to the road via a four-wheel drivetrain.

The four-strong local Jetour T1 lineup is priced from R514 900 to R634 900. Pricing includes a seven-year/70 000 km service plan and a vehicle warranty spanning the same duration or 200 000 km. A 10-year/1 million km (for the initial owner) is also included with the package.

Jetour T2 Price in SA

Pricing for the local Jetour T2 range kicks off at R569 900 and tops out at R679 900. The T2 ships with the same vehicle and engine warranties, and service plan as the T1.
