The Jetour T2 made its global debut in 2023. Now, three years later, the facelifted version of the Chinese automaker’s ever-popular SUV is set to be unveiled at the 2026 Chengdu Motor Show, which takes place from 21-30 August. And ahead of the updated model’s official reveal, leaked images have surfaced online.

The revised T2 adopts a new front fascia, replete with round headlamps in lieu of the current model’s square units. Fresh daytime-running lights and a light strip are also present. The ‘Jetour’ lettering has been moved from the grille to the leading edge of the bonnet. The soon-to-be-revealed model also sports fresh fore and aft bumpers, and more prominent wheel arches.

The refreshed T2 measures 4 827 mm in length, making it 42 mm longer than the current T2. The width, height, and wheelbase remain unchanged, at 2 006, 1 875, and 2 800 mm, respectively.

According to autohome.com.cn, the updated T2 is expected to make its debut sporting a plug-in hybrid (PHEV) powertrain comprising a 115 kW/220 N.m 1.5-litre, four-cylinder turbopetrol engine and 165 kW/391 N.m electric motor. Peak combined power and torque outputs are rated at 265 kW and 610 N.m, delivered to the front wheels via a three-speed dedicated hybrid transmission (DHT). An all-wheel-drive variant featuring a dual electric-motor setup will reportedly also be available, and produce combined system outputs of 340 kW and 700 N.m.

Equipped with a 27.2 kWh lithium-iron phosphate (LFP) battery, the T2 i-DM offers a claimed electric-only operating range of up to 100 km on the WLTP cycle. Fitted with the larger, 43.24 kWh item, EV-only range is increased to a claimed 160 km.

Both the 125 kW/290 N.m 1.5-litre, four-cylinder turbopetrol and 180 kW/375 N.m 2.0-litre, four-cylinder turbopetrol engines, coupled with a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission, are expected to be carried over from the current model.
