Showcasing Lepas’ new design philosophy, the Aura concept has taken to the stage at the Chinese brand’s Global Elegance Night. This direction rests on the Natural Energy principle, as explained by Chief Designer Ivan Dulanović. He states that its elegance stems from composure rather than mere decoration. The design team studied the muscular tension and physical movement of a leopard to shape the vehicle.

The vehicle features a long wheelbase, short overhangs and a wide stance. Pronounced shoulder lines reflect muscular strength, while integrated air channels guide airflow efficiently around the body. The glossy porcelain-inspired finish complements the sculpted volumes, creating a subtle interplay between surface tension and fluid lines. Signature Leopard headlamps establish a striking visual identity that will define future production models.

Personalised front fascia and tailgate lighting

A major innovation introduced on the Aura concept is the reconfigured front fascia. Designers combined the rounded grille and side intakes into a unified black surface. This front screen accommodates dynamic lighting signatures, animations and customised graphics. At the rear, a display panel allows drivers to personalise the taillamp graphics. These adaptable digital elements enable owners to express their individual style without compromising the core silhouette. The integration of smart displays marks a distinct shift towards interactive vehicle exteriors, merging brand identity with personal expression.

Exterior colours inspired by natural landscapes

The exterior paint options for the Aura concept take direct inspiration from distinct natural environments across different times of day. Dawn Pearl captures the soft pink hues of a Tahitian sunrise, Bacalar Blue mirrors the midday waters of the Bacalar Lagoon with shifting turquoise tones, and Provence Twilight reflects the deep blue-violet shades of lavender fields at sunset. Each shade gives the same sculptured form a unique character under changing light conditions.

Future Influence on production vehicles

The debut of the Aura concept establishes a clear blueprint for upcoming vehicle generations. By combining confident proportions, smooth surface treatments and customisable lighting, Lepas aims to merge personal expression with quiet confidence. The visual elements and technology seen on this concept will directly inform the next wave of electrified production vehicles, helping to bring the firm’s drive your elegance philosophy to life.
