Tesla Cybertruck Gets Mansory Makeover

Image
The already outlandish Tesla Cybertruck has received an even more extreme transformation at the hands of Mansory. Image: Mansory Mansory’s Elongation Evo adds even more drama to Tesla’s all-electric pickup. While it retains much of the standard Cybertruck’s form, the one-off features an extensive forged carbon-fibre makeover…and it’s anything but subtle. In addition to the latter, several other exterior revisions, including the fitment of a body kit and new wheels, were added to turn the already bold Cybertruck into an unapologetically flashy showpiece. Carbon trim has been applied to the pillars, window surrounds, door sills, and the sides of the load bay; giving the Cybertruck a striking new exterior finish. The body kit includes wider wheel arches, a new bonnet and front bumper, and a set of massive, 26-inch wheels. A duo of winglets, mounted at the rear, on the side of the load bay, are also present. However, while such items are usually fitted to supercars to enhance aerodyn...

So, upon delivery, it rolled off the 2.4-metre-tall ramp and hit the ground. According to footage circulating online (watch the footage shared by Spike Feresten on Instagram below), only the rear bumper and exhaust touched the ground. However, the car was wedged between the ramp and the ground. Wrote John Clay Wolf on Instagram: “Sitting with a friend when he gets the call that his customer’s RUF Y...

Image: Supplied It seems that barely a week goes by before news of another safety-related vehicle recall appears in the international headlines. In the context of vehicle recalls, the definition of “safety-related” can be quite broad. Fortunately, the latter are in the majority, but conversely this has contributed to a situation where the sheer number of recalls combined with this perceived over-cautious approach has led to many motorists not taking such matters as seriously as they should. The first question many of us ask is why there...
