Serving as the spiritual successor to the legendary McLaren F1, penned by Gordon Murray, production of the British automaker’s new touring-focused supercar is strictly capped at 64 units. At its core is a bespoke 4.2-litre naturally aspirated V12 that revs to a howling 12 100 r/min. Producing 508 kW and 500 N.m of torque, with the full complement of the latter available from 7 000 r/min, the Cosworth co-developed unit delivers power to the rear wheels via a six-speed manual transmission engineered to offer a tactile “rifle-bolt” shift feel.
